We currently have a fantastic opportunity for Physiotherapist to work in one of the largest, private healthcare providers in Aberdeen, Scotland.

We are looking for candidate with previous UK experience, ideally 3+ years

This is a permanent, full time position with salary up to £38,000 per annum for the right candidate

We are looking for an individual who can:
• deliver a high quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy service through assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of treatment within the scope of practice seeking clinical support where required
• Deliver a high quality inpatient service in line with service requirements (e.g. Post Operatively, Recovery Plus, Respiratory* etc….)
• Manage an effective and efficient varied musculoskeletal caseload including those with complex presentations and embrace the delivery of a bio-psychosocial approach to assessment underpinned by clinical reasoning and neuroscience
• To use manual therapy skills where appropriate, underpinned by the principles of neuroscience research and ensure self-management strategies are empowered to patients as part of the patient journey
• Deliver Occupational Health and Ergonomics where required to support service delivery
• To apply evidence based practice to deliver best quality care

• BSc(Hons) or equivalent in Physiotherapy
• UK HCPC Registration and CSP membership
• Completion of your general physiotherapy clinical rotations or equivalent
• CPD portfolio that demonstrates MSK experience, bio-psychosocial awareness and neuroscience principles and learning
• Competent and confident IT user intermediate/advanced skills in Word and Excel

• Post graduate training in CBT & Bio-Psychosocial model of health care
• Neuro Orthopaedic Institute (NOi) CPD or equivalent (e.g. Explain Pain)
• Occupational Health/Ergonomic qualifications
• Research experience
• Experience of the private sector
• A member of special interest groups within MSK Physiotherapy
• Previous experience of case management
• Acupuncture qualification

• An eye for detail and accuracy especially in report writing
• Articulates a good breadth of knowledge across a number of musculoskeletal fields such as Orthopaedics, Neurology, Paediatrics, Sports Injuries and Outpatients
• Utilises clinical reasoning to underpin decision-making
• Recognises Red Flags, interpret and explain your clinical reasoning to senior staff for clarification
• Willing to work flexibly
• The ability to read, write and communicate in English

• Presentation skills along with the ability to persuade & create consensus
• Experience in delivering training
• Experience in supervision of less experienced staff
• Experience of working in Pain Management
• Knowledge & of promoting/marketing a clinic/department
• Knowledge and a good grasp of social media and Its impact on clinical debate and practice
• Experience of introducing innovation to service delivery
• Utilises a CBT approach Demonstrates excellent manual therapy skills underpinned by neuroscience principles
• Justifies and applies knowledge of pain science and the bio-psychosocial model of healthcare and its application to physiotherapy to discuss
