Phil has been working in the staffing business since 1994 where he started recruiting within the IT and Telecoms sector specialising in building new markets. Phil established RIG Medical in 2002 and RIG Social Care in 2004 and has grown the business to become one of the leading suppliers within both the Allied Health and Health Science Services markets.
Darren Clark, Operations Director
Darren has worked in recruitment for 11 years and has been with the company for over six. He has worked his way up from Radiography consultant, Occupational Therapy Team Manager and Medical Sales Manager to his current role as Operations Director. Darren’s hard work and enthusiasm have been rewarded with clear career progression.
Adrienne Hough-Bekker, Senior Recruitment Consultant - Radiotherapy
Adrienne joined the company in 2005 and started recruiting Radiotherapists. She is responsible for the Radiotherapy Division and supplies all 76 Radiotherapy Hospitals throughout the UK and Southern Ireland and currently reaches over 80% of the UK agency Radiotherapy market. Adrienne is passionate about recruitment and has achieved a lot in her five years with the company, including many Employee of the Quarter awards and she won a place on 2009 Honours club trip to Barbados.
Fodi Kyriakos, Team Leader - Radiography
Fodi has worked in recruitment for 12 years; seven of those with RIG, following five years in IT. He currently heads up a team of six Radiography consultants and has successfully grown the business to become market leader in that field. Fodi has been key in helping to win some of RIG’s biggest contracts, including Guys & St Thomas’s NHS Trust and The Portsmouth NHS Trust. Fodi has completed the Extraordinary Leadership Program course with RIG and has played an important role in the development of the business since the start.
Katie Matthews, Senior Recruitment Consultant - Occupational Therapy
Katie has worked for RIG since 2008, taking over from Darren Clark in establishing the Social Services division within the Occupational Therapy team; she is able to provide a specialist service to clients and candidates within this setting. She has previously worked with people with eating disorders. Katie is qualified in Contemporary Arts and has a background in photography, where she has managed a studio and worked as a national trainer for three years.
Natalie Murrell, Recruitment Consultant - Physiotherapy
Nat began her career with RIG in 2005 and quickly made a move into Healthcare where she currently recruits Physiotherapists. Natalie has grown the business with hard work, determination and by building good relationships with both candidates and clients. She won Employee of the Quarter in her first three months of working within the team.
Lucy Howgego, Recruitment Consultant - Doctors
Lucy is our very own newest recruit! She started with RIG in 2009 but has been working in recruitment for a total of five years. Lucy’s recruitment background is in Telecoms and IT and she has run several of her own businesses including a niche medical recruitment company. Lucy started her career in travel, customer service and hospitality, before moving into sales and recruitment.
