MY CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS: Title: Sonographer Department:Imaging Location:South East England Accountable To:Imaging Services Manager Reports To:Departmental Superintendent Hours of Work:37.5 hours per week plus emergency and on call duties as required The duties and responsibilities of the post holder require service delivery in a wide range of clinical environments and to a wide range of patient presentations. The post holders’ duties will include working in ultrasound. Job Outline; To perform a range of diagnostic procedures as required throughout both the department and the hospital, managing patient priority as appropriate. To contribute positively to an effective and responsive imaging service. To supervise and assist support staff in both the service delivery and their own development needs. To ensure that all patient data is recorded for both patient record integrity and audit purposes. To encourage the highest professional and technical standards in all staff through personal example. Maintain a high level of professional and technical standards through participation in personal CPD.
