MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS POST: To manager the day-to-day running of the CT Scanning Suite, in order to provide a professional, efficient and cost effective unit. To organise the training supervision and professional development of the staff who will be working in the CT Scanning suite. To be an effective member of the Radiology Management Team. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: To provide professional leadership in the CT Scanning Suite. To maintain a professional image of the CT Scanning Suite in relation to all patient care and provide a high standard of diagnostic imaging of the CT Scanning Suite in relation to all patient care and provide a high standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiency for our users. To ensure efficient day-to-day running of the CT Scanning Suite organising the efficacious utilisation of staff and resources. This will include: Staffing levels, skills mixes and working arrangements. Induction, training and development of staff. Appraisal. Disciplinary action as appropriate.
