On behalf of our client in Berkshire, Cpl UK – Health are looking for a highly motivated Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to start work ASAP until 4th September 2021.
You will have a personable, friendly approach with patients and colleagues and perform your duties to the highest standards.
Please note, we are unable to sponsor visas. We require the Right to Work in the UK.
Job Description:- Band 5 or 6 Occupational Therapist- 37.5 hours per week - Working hours: 8am - 5pm - Monday to Saturday (weekends are rota'd)- Hourly rate of up to £21.00 for Band 5; up to £25 per hour for Band 6 - ASAP start - 4th September 2021
- To contribute to the provision of an efficient, effective and patient focused Occupational Therapy Service under the guidance of a senior member of staff.
- To work with a designated case load of patients to help improve their confidence in activities of daily living and enable the patients to return to their own homes if appropriate.
- To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and assess patients in the most appropriate environment, to promote safety and dignity for the individual at all times.
- To assess the activities of daily living for patients referred and implement rehabilitation programmes.
- To regularly evaluate treatment programmes and update documentation.
- To document all interventions in Occupational Therapy notes.
- To communicate and liaise closely and effectively with other members of the Team within the Hospital and the locality.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration- 6 months NHS experience minimum (preferably in A&E or Orthopaedics)- Right to Work in the UK
- Must have UK driving license and access to their own car
