Specialty Doctor – Old Age Psychiatrist

Cpl UK Healthcare are currently looking for a Old Age Specialty doctor, NHS based in Blackpool, Lancashire area.
The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Specialty doctor in Old Age Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of community psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.
Old Age Community Role. The post holder would be expected to be approved as a Section 12 approved MHA practitioner. The post holder will be expected to support covering MAS service across the network but based in Lytham and supported also by a speciality doctor who is based in Fleetwood.
The post holder will be expected to support the Memory Assessment Service primarily and arrangement may be made for this to extend to older adult community mental health team, Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) and other teams aligned to the provision of older adult mental health services in Blackpool. Own car/driving essential.
