Full time Band 6/7 Occupational therapist needed for a role in Birmingham
We are pleased to be currently recruiting for a locum Occupational Therapist post working with a busy NHS trust.
This post is to start ASAP, but will consider candidates with starts within the next 4 weeks.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a paediatric community setting.
To be responsible for the assessment and on-going therapeutic management of children in a designated community area. The occupational therapist will competently assess and deliver OT programmes to children in the service without the need for direct supervision and will be accountable for their own clinical work as well as to their nominated supervisor. Conditions will include complex neuro-developmental conditions, multiple pathology, and life-limiting conditions and may involve working with children with unpredictable behaviour.
Key Facts about this role:
• Starting Immediately
• Working hours : Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 16.30pm, however the department are willing to work with someone looking for flexible hours.
• A Busy Trust, with a History of recent supply with RIG
• close to several commuting routes,
• Hourly rate £25 for weekdays Equivalent Gross Rate * (dependent on experience)
