Full time Band 6 Hand Therapist needed in Lancashire
We are pleased to be currently recruiting for multiple Occupational Therapists posts working with a fantastic NHS foundation Trust.
These posts are to start ASAP, but will consider candidates with starts within the next 6 weeks.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work in a busy hand therapy out-patient service. Prior experience in the area of hand therapy is a prerequisite for this position which requires the autonomous management of a caseload of patients with conditions and injuries relating to the hand and wrist. Conditions and injuries will range in complexity depending on your prior experience. You will be required to employ evidence based and client centred principles in order to provide specialist assessment and treatment, including bespoke splinting. You must work in the limits of your own competence and liaise with senior members of the team for guidance as required to ensure safe, personal and effective intervention. Clinical supervision and a conservative amount of instruction will be provided as part of this position.
Key Facts about this role:
• Starting Immediately, with roles also available in February 2019
• Working hours : Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 16.30pm, however the department are willing to work with someone looking for flexible hours.
• A Busy Trust, with a History of recent supply with RIG
• close to several commuting routes,
• Hourly rate £24 for weekdays Equivalent Gross Rate * (dependent on experience)
