Department: Acute Medical Unit

The candidate sort should be an enthusiastic and motivated senior therapist that is keen to develop their skills within a friendly and dynamic therapy team as part of the AMU based therapy team.
This position will provide you with excellent opportunities to develop a wide range of clinical, professional and clinical reasoning skills with a wide ranging caseload.
You will further develop strong assessment and analytical skills when managing the functional needs of this complex cohort of acutely unwell and frail older people.
The therapy service is committed to continuing your professional development (CPD) and in clinical governance. You will be given regular support, training, clinical supervision and will participate in in-house training sessions. You will also have support in developing your supervision and leadership skills.
Our client has strong links with the local universities, enabling them to make valuable contributions to fieldwork education, as well as working together to develop evidence based practice.
