RIG Healthcare are currently in search of an Adult Speech and Language Therapist for a vacancy based in Bedfordshire.
This role is initially for a period of 4-6 weeks, with potential to extend beyond.
All applicants must be dysphagia competent to work at a specialist or highly specialist level independently seeing adult patients in the community and as outpatients.
Band 6 or Band 7 candidates will be considered.
You will be working with Parkinson's patients with quiet voice, therefore you must be able to demonstrate LOUD voice. Not essential to have LSVT training.
Skills with general dysphonia will be beneficial also.
Patients will be in the Bedfordshire CCG area (so not Luton) with outpatients at Bedford Hospital.
7.5 hours daily between 8am-5pm to suit accordingly; most staff work 8.30am-4.30pm.
